The many similarities between the ii can be insert in Thoreau?s act, Walden, and the movie Into the Wild. Thoreau god in a confine he made himself for two years, two months, and two years in aver to scram simplicity. He cherished to live in nature in order to find the internal meaning in life, and in doing so, he wrote the essay Walden. McCandless in addition kept a dairy too, every mean solar day he would write down the meaningful events that happened. The both of them stayed in the wilderness for about two years, although unlike Thoreau, McCandless was not ever so in the wilderness.
